Software Update for Nokia N9 to version 20, Brings Apps update, Music Control, NFC Tag Reading and much more......

The big software update for Nokia’s MeeGo smartphone, Nokia N9, has been released to the wild. The update has started to roll out in many regions already. Note that Philippines update is not yet available and maybe some other SEA regions too, but later this week we expect the update will hit our device.
From version 10.2011 to version 20, the update size is at whooping 219MB which brings new features and important changes.

• Music control on lock screen
• Improved Multitasking
• NFC Tag Reading
• Update to apps:
• Twitter with twitpic upload feature
• Facebook
• Nokia Store and many more.

To check for update on your Nokia N9 just go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications. The system will also notify you of available update once you’re connected in the internet. Will post the new changes once the update is available here

MeeGo Harmattan PR1.1 v20 Update your Nokia N9 via Nokia Software Updater

             

              If you’re a Nokia N9 user and have not yet updated your device to version 20.2011.40.4 because of the unavailability of the update in your region then there is another resort to get that update. 

              If you can’t wait for the roll out to hit your region, you can try the Nokia Software Updater in PC. Just plug or connect your Nokia N9 to the PC and open the program. 

              The difference compare to the OTA update to this one is that you will need to download a much bigger software update with 1.1GB. Over the Air or OTA only takes 200MB+ so you might need to spend few more hours on updating it over NSU.

New Nokia N9 Unicorn (White 64GB) Now Available….... in Finland

The White Nokia N9 can now be found at Finnish retailers. This variation has a glossy material instead of matte found on the black, cyan, and magenta bodies. If you’re in Finland, you can get it now for 629 Euros.
