Call Recorder - Meego Harmattan - Nokia N9,N950 - Free App Download

Call Recorder is an application to automatically record phone calls on the Nokia N9 / N950. The audio is stored as 11,025 Hz 16 bit PCM | 128kbit/s | WAV format. One minute of recording takes 469 kB. 
The current alpha version only allows recording calls over the GSM network. Support for recording VoIP calls will be added in future versions. It will be also possible to change the output format/codec.

 

The application consists of the following modules:

• Settings / User interface 
• 
  
• Phone service 
• 
  
• Recorder service.

After you install the application, open it and start the Phone and Recorder service. Then you can quit the application. The daemon will continue running in the background. It will detect voice calls and automatically record them.

All recorded calls will be listed in descending order in the Recorded files tab of the application. The files are stored in /home/user/MyDocs/CallRecorder folder.
